*JOB SUMMARY* The Personal Trainer?s purpose is to build a client base that contributes to departmental revenues by providing the highest quality of customer service and by actively supporting marketing programs and services that promote acquisition of new members. A Personal Trainer provides their clientele with the knowledge, motivation and coaching to achieve their personal fitness goals. A Personal Trainer?s scope of practice precludes the offering of medical advice or diagnosis. We are looking or both male and Female trainers. *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES* - Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills -Must be able to market personal training and obtain clients, Strong sales ability Knowledge of Computer systems and email -Working knowledge of safe conditioning procedures related to various types of free weight equipment, selectorized weight equipment, plate-loaded, and cardiovascular equipment -Willingness to work all shifts -A passion for fitness. - Follow the dress code standards provided by Fuzion Fitness. *REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE* -A minimum of two years education in the field of exercise science or a related field and at least two years experience in a similar position; -or a Bachelor?s degree in exercise science; or a combination of education and experience Current Personal Training certification from Canfit Pro or other nationally recognized certification body -Current CPR and First Aid certificate (must be obtained within 30 days of hire) Actively pursues opportunities for continuing education as well as personal and professional growth Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Additional pay: * Commission pay Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site gym * On-site parking Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Personal Training: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * CPR Certification (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2023-02-28- LocationThornhill, ON
