If this sounds like a culture you would like to be a part of, then check out this opportunity! *The Role:* We are in need of a Full Time Security ? Night Watchman for our Resort. This is a great position that allows you some flexibility to plan your day, ski or board during the day. *Responsibilities:* * Patrol the resort premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion * Circulate amongst the guests and staff to preserve order and protect property * Ensure the security of all doors, windows, and gates * Ensure a consistent presence of security in Molly Hogan?s Bar & Grill * Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, apprehending or evicting violators from the premises using appropriate force, where required * Snow shoveling/clearing lodge decks and entrances, where required * Perform regular checks of staff accommodation to ensure control is maintained * Perform hourly check-ins with the grooming staff and record those interactions as per company policy. * Practice safe work procedures * Ensure you are projecting a professional appearance and attitude at all times * Other duties may be assigned as needed *Qualifications:* * Minimum 1 years security experience is preferred * Formal security training is preferred * Valid Class 5 driver?s license is required with a clean driver abstract and 10 years driving experience * Previous customer service experience is an asset * Able to work alone or as part of a team * Able to work outside in all weather conditions * Communication skills * Critical thinking skills * Time management skills * Organizational skills * Good judgment and decision making abilities Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract Contract length: 5 months Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site gym * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Night shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationAgassiz, BC
