*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for training and developing staff. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing store functions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the business. *Responsibilities* * Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a welcoming environment. * Support the training and development of team members to enhance their skills in cashiering, sales techniques, and product knowledge. * Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, inventory management, and reporting. * Lead by example in promoting sales initiatives and achieving store goals through effective merchandising and promotional strategies. * Collaborate with management to negotiate vendor contracts and manage inventory levels effectively. * Maintain a clean, organized store environment that reflects the brand's standards. * Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing employee performance. *Experience* * Previous experience in retail management or as a clerk is preferred. * Strong background in customer service with proven ability to handle difficult situations effectively. * Familiarity with cashiering processes and POS systems is essential. * Experience in training development * Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. * Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors or partners to achieve favorable outcomes. * Drain motor oil, change oil filter * Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure * Inspect and top off fluids * Inspect and install engine and cabin air filters * Perform coolant exchanges * Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor * Maintain cleanliness of work environment * Provide excellent customer service * Make recommendations based on manufacturer intervals * Preform seasonal tire changes and rotations Join our team as an Assistant Manager where you can make a significant impact on our customers' experiences while developing your career in retail management!
