*Overview of the Position: *
The Shipper Receiver manages the receipt and dispatch of shipments from vendors and other Frontier branches, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient operations and high service standards. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are crucial for the Shipper Receiver?s success.
*Key Duties and Responsibilities: *
* Receive Shipments: Efficiently handle daily inbound shipments from vendors and other Frontier branches, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
* Prepare Outbound Shipments: Process and prepare outbound shipments, including finished production units, customer parts orders, branch-to-branch (BTB) transfers, etc.
* Adhere to Shipping Procedures: Pick, package, stage orders, create necessary documentation, and track shipments as required.
* Follow Receiving Procedures: Verify bills of landing (BOL), document overages/shortages or damage, receive items into the system, unpack, inspect, and properly store goods.
* Prioritize Routine Tasks: Organize daily activities to ensure reliable and predictable results, such as timely staging for production parts and prompt delivery of service parts to support field equipment.
* Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the parts stock room, shipping bay, and warehouse clean and well-organized.
* Assist with Inventory Counts: Support inventory cycle counts as directed, ensuring accurate stock levels.
* Resolve Discrepancies: Notify the supervisor or team lead of any shipping issues and assist in resolving them.
* Coordinate with Production Team: Work closely with the Production team to ensure efficient movement of parts to the floor.
*Experience and Qualifications: *
* Minimum 2 year experience as a Shipper Receiver.
* Minimum 2 year forklift operation experience.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute as an effective team player.
* Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, coupled with robust problem-solving skills.
* Basic inventory knowledge such as bin location understanding, In/Outs, and physical inventory count processes.
* Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience (e.g. Epicor).
* Waybill software experience such as Purolator, Loomis Express, and United Parcel Service (UPS).
* Cross-border shipping requirements knowledge strongly preferred.
* Valid driver?s license and clean driver?s abstract.
