<p><p><p>Job Posting: Posting Detail <p>Posting: T24/25-161<p>Description: Grade 8 Generalist Teacher <p><p><p>Start Date: 1-November-2024<p>End Date: 27-June-2025<p>Date of Notice: 02-October-2024<p>Closing Date: 31-October-2024 12:00 PM, MST <p><p><p>English, Math, Digital Technology & Media Arts Teacher - Grade 8 <p>Fernie Secondary School <p>Fernie, BC <p>Temporary 1.0 FTE <p>Salary: The starting annual salary for this full-time Secondary School Teacher position ranges from $63,357 to $112,345, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.<p>Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.<p><p><p>Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).<p>-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. <p>-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.<p><p><p>English, Math, Digital Technology & Media Arts Teacher - Grade 8 <p><p> (POSTING NUMBER T2425-161 - Round 5 ongoing until filled)<p><p>1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting November 1, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process to June 27, 2025.<p><p>Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Middle School level.<p><p>This position is scheduled to include 4 linear blocks of English 8, 1 linear block of Math 8 and 2 linear blocks of Digital Technology and Media Arts 8.
