Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our childcare centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. Join us in shaping the future generation through quality education and compassionate teaching practices. Requirements: * Must be living in Hamilton * Not a student * Does not require sponsorship * Degree in Early Childhood Education / Early Childhood Assistant / Teaching * Regisitered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) * 2+ years of experience working in a childcare setting * Strong demonstrated ECE knowledge * Knowledge of developing and implementing age-appropriate activities for children from infant to kindergarten age * Teamwork Skills * Communication skills, ability to express self well, confident * Mentoring/Coaching ? the ability to give feedback constructively * Interpersonal skills ? can interact with others in an encouraging way and can work in a team * Organizational skills ? very detailed, has methods to stay organized Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * DCS / DEC (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-25- LocationHamilton, ON
