*Job Summary* Glacial Aggregates Inc. is seeking a motivated, self-starting Inside Sales Associate with strong people skills and a positive attitude. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, managing their inquiries and processing orders with accuracy and efficiency. Your ability to build rapport with clients, foremen, and drivers will be key to ensuring a seamless sales experience. You will tackle challenges head-on, providing solutions to customer and driver issues while contributing to the overall success of our sales team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order processing. * Troubleshoot and resolve customer and driver issues effectively. * Review completed orders and load slips for errors before invoicing. * Pursue job bids and generate proactive quotes for various projects. * Handle quotes for smaller projects and ensure timely follow-up. * Oversee the order process for COD customers with consistent communication. * Utilize/learn specialized scale software for order creation and record maintenance. * Make proactive customer calls to enhance engagement and monitor sales. * Organize contact databases for customers and truckers for easy access. * Learn and serve as backup for the dispatch position. *Qualifications and Skills* * Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer relationship management. * Experience in learning new software while effectively managing informational databases. * Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Capability to adapt and learn about different roles within the organization. *Benefits* * Chance to join a large diverse organization with opportunities to learn and grow. * Excellent compensation. * Extended healthcare. * Dental plan. * Pension plan. * Profit sharing.
