JP Laboratories is excited to announce immediate openings for 3 full-time Analytical Chemist positions within our Quality Control Lab. If you?re passionate about chemistry and eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!
*Key Requirements:*
* Must be a Canadian resident.
* Master?s degree in Chemistry with 3+ years of hands-on experience, or Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry with 5+ years of experience.
* Expert-level proficiency in HPLC, GC, and associated software for instrumental analysis.
* Strong understanding of HPFBI and FDA GMP requirements, with experience using compendia (USP, EP, etc.).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform analytical testing as well as method development, validation, and transfer.
* Ensure all work complies with GMPs, GLPs, SOPs, and Health and Safety regulations.
* Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, ICP.
* Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and protocols as needed.
* Conduct general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment as per the calibration program.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement.
* Review peers? analytical raw data for quality and accuracy.
* Consult with the Supervisor on any non-conformance issues.
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Perform additional related duties as assigned.
