Responsibilities
Tasks

Move tools, equipment and other materials

Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed

Clean machines and immediate work areas

Perform other labouring and elemental activities

Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment

Notify supervisor or mechanic of equipment malfunctions

Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Complete detailed inspection documentation

Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment

Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed

Organize and maintain inventory

Discuss work with supervisor

Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
