<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>AM/PM Service is currently seeking</strong>: a talented <strong>C# .NET Developer (Web & Desktop Applications)</strong> with a keen eye for modern design of web applications and an ability to create Web and desktop apps enhance AM/PM's web presence and service offerings.</p><p>*This position is required to work in an office setting hence not a remote position.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain C# .NET web applications and desktop applications.</li><li>Provide expert creative guidance on the overall look, feel and functionality of web design projects</li><li>Create & maintain web tools that support AM/PM internal & external customers</li><li>Troubleshoot any and all bugs as it relates to web applications</li><li>Build websites that support a wide range of user devices: Computer, Tablet, Android and Apple</li><li>Participate in a collaborative environment on software development tactics</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 1-year web design experience</li><li>Proven experience with C# and the .NET framework, specifically in web and desktop application development.</li><li>Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Windows Forms/WPF.</li><li>Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Blazor.</li><li>Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server</li><li>Familiarity with RESTful services, APIs, and web protocols.</li><li>Proficiency with Visual Studio, version control (e.g., Git), and continuous integration practices.</li><li>Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative environment</li><li>Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS) for web application deployment.</li><li>Experience with Point of Sale systems</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills for website issues.</li><li>Able to work well in a team and individually</li><li>Able to document your work & provide instructional material</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will be required to complete a background check prior to commencing work.</p><p><strong><em>***LMIA (LMO) or AINP sponsorship is not available for this position. ***</em></strong></p><p><strong>If you meet the above criteria, please e-mail your resume and cover letter along with your portfolio or web links that you personally created to <span class="long-word">resumes@ampmservice.com,</span> indicating your salary expectation, and noting "Web Developer" in the subject line. </strong></p><p>We would like to thank all applicants who applied, however, only those short-listed will be contacted for next steps. <strong>No phone calls please.</strong></p></div>Company Description<div>AM/PM Service, established in 1987, is a leading Point of Sale (POS) and Service company with a significant presence in both Canada and the USA.
