As an Accounting Manager, you are responsible for working closely with the Head Office Finance team, the General Manager of the dealership and directly with dealership in the day-to-day functions of the finances.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain accounting ledgers by reviewing and posting transactionsClear understanding of all accounting functions including AP, AR, deal postings, payrollPreparation of monthly reporting including financial statements, balance sheets, capital assetsFinancial analysis and reportingAnnual Preparation of budgetsEnsure Standard Operating Procedures and processes are being followedTrain, develop and manage the accounting team in all accounting functionsWork closely with Department ManagersProvide reporting to Corporate Head OfficeSome travel required Requirements: Post secondary education in business/commerce/accounting or a related field5+ years experience in an accounting role, preferably in an automotive dealership settingTechnically inclined, with advanced knowledge of MS Office and ExcelExperience with HRIS is considered an asset but not requiredExperience managing/supervising a teamSalary Range: Salary is commensurate with Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
