<strong>WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU </strong><p>Under the supervision of the Director of Business Development, Customer Experience and Purchasing, you will play a key role in optimizing our purchasing. Your primary mission: to ensure quality, on-time delivery and cost control for our procurement. You will plan, organize and improve the activities of the purchasing department, while collaborating with a dynamic team. </p><p> </p><p>In a nutshell, here's what you'll be doing with your time </p><ul><li>Negotiate and manage strategic agreements with suppliers to ensure reliable, efficient and cost-effective supply. </li><li>Adjust and prepare purchase orders according to production needs. </li><li>Analyze and manage inventories to optimize costs and lead times. </li><li>Monitor deliveries and manage relations with suppliers and subcontractors. </li><li>Participate in the evaluation of material and subcontracting prices for new customer projects, in order to identify the most advantageous offer. </li><li>Develop and evaluate new sources of supply, while keeping abreast of market trends. </li><li>Identify cost reduction opportunities and propose process improvements. </li><li>Monitor supplier performance and adjust strategies in the event of deviations (costs, lead times, quality). </li><li>Update and analyze departmental performance indicators. </li></ul>- LocationDrummondville, QC
