<p>Merchandising Associates (MEAs) merchandise and maintain various product sets in The Home Depot retail environment to enhance the customer experience, increase sales and maximize inventory turns.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p>Merchandising: General Service, Tasking, Packdown, and Projects</p><p>? Read and interpret directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions, program service requirements and general service guidelines</p><p>? Straighten, clean and merchandise product to ensure merchandise is presented in a visually appealing manner</p><p>? Maintain copy of most recent planogram inside upright beam adjacent to product set</p><p>? Build displays and fixtures using basic hand tools</p><p>? Maintain, order, and install display material/signage/brochures</p><p>? Follow directions and processes to conduct accurate price and label changes. Replace incorrect, damaged, or missing price labels.</p><p>? Maintain aisle</p><p>? Utilize store systems to access key merchandising reports. Read, interpret, and execute action based on findings.</p><p>? Maintain bay service records and other documentation as directed.</p><p>? Execute one off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership.</p><p><br></p><p><b><br> Customer Service</b></p><p>? Maintain aisle cleanliness so that merchandise is accessible and customers are able to move throughout the aisles easily</p><p>? Partner with store leadership to markdown all damaged or un-sellable merchandise</p><p>? Answer questions regarding the store and products for the customers.</p><p>? Partner with store associates to find necessary products to fit the customer's needs.</p><p><br></p><p><b><br> Other</b></p><p>? Partner with store representative to conduct inspections of returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor.</p><p>? Follow standard operating and safety procedures.</p><p>?
