Data Services and Analytics ManagerCome join our Information Technology team to provide strategic direction and business innovation support for the city?s data analytics, open data, and GIS systems. As the Data Services & Analytics Manager, you will work with the broader community to develop partnerships that promote the development and use of open data and smart systems and collectively solve city challenges. You will analyze and translate business strategies, plans and requirements into efficient and cost-effective information systems. You will also work with the Information Technology management team to assess future direction of data analytics, open data, corporate data, and enterprise systems.QualificationsIdeal candidates will be proven influential leaders with excellent communication, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and build strong working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science supplemented with extensive experience in the information systems field as well Geo-spatial data & tools and visualization tools is required. Candidates need a comprehensive understanding of information systems, large business systems life cycle, data analytics, open data, project management, networks and applications and their interrelationships, software quality assurance, data security, web development.
