In addition to conventional insurance, investment and financial advice products and services, we pride ourselves in delivering preventative financial education and, where required, counselling, to support our members? financial wellbeing. As a social enterprise, the profits we make help fund programs within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community to benefit members and their families.</span></p> <p><span>SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.</span></p><strong>THE ROLE</strong><p><span>The SISIP Learning Specialist, Financial Education is responsible for financial resiliency initiatives, in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Financial Education, advisory teams, partners and other senior stakeholders. They will create, design and implement learning strategies from inception to implementation. This includes conducting needs assessments, developing, delivering, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating instructional materials in a variety of formats (e.g., eLearning, webinar, in-person workshops, etc.) which supports projects that are geared toward enhancing the financial resiliency of CAF members and their families.</span></p> <p><span>The successful candidate has experience in adult education, learning & development, instructional design, curriculum development, education technology, and project management. They excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and have strong communication and relationship building skills. Experience in change management and working in the financial industry are assets. With a focus on member experience, they will gather insights and feedback to continuously improve the learning experience for our members.</span></p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><p><span><strong>Education, Certifications and Licenses</strong> </span></p> <p><span>Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline AND some years of experience in financial services and project management, or a related field</span></p> <p><span><strong>Experience</strong></span></p> <p><span>In planning, designing/developing, managing, coordinating and evaluating financial services programs/activities</span></p> <p><span>In conducting research and analysis</span></p> <p><span>In project management</span></p> <p><span>In providing advice and guidance</span></p> <p><span>In planning, developing and/or conducting communications and presentations</span></p> <p><span>In developing, interpreting and evaluating policies, guidelines and procedures</span></p> <p><span>In business and data analysis and reporting, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</span></p> <p><span>In personnel administration</span></p> <p><span>In budget administration</span></p> <p><span><strong>Competencies</strong> </span></p> <p><span>Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
