*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will thrive in a fast-paced dental environment. As an RDH, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring the comfort of our patients. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring adherence to established protocols. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning by providing detailed assessments of patients' oral health. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, documenting treatments and observations. * Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontics and pediatrics. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism. *Qualifications* * Valid RDH license in the province of practice. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. * Experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not required.
