*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of clients through personalized treatment plans. *Duties* * Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage. * Assess client needs and develop customized treatment plans based on individual preferences and health conditions. * Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide guidance on post-treatment care. * Document client sessions accurately, including treatment details and progress notes. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including maintaining client confidentiality. *Experience* * A valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required. * Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities is essential. * Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
