The Operator needs to be meticulous and solution oriented. He will work in collaboration with other departments such as quality assurance, quality control, and maintenance. </span><span> </span></p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Responsibilities & Tasks</b></p><ul><li><span>Operate and maintain plasma atomization unit(s) and/or post-processing equipment</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ensure the operation activities are carried-out on time in accordance with production schedule</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ensure all equipment maintenance programs are in place </span><span></span></li><li><span>Follow industrial hygiene regulations </span><span></span></li><li><span>Follow health and safety regulations </span><span></span></li><li><span>Follow best workplace practices </span><span></span></li><li><span>Work with a quality mindset and work closely with quality control department</span><span></span></li><li><span>Handle hazardous materials </span><span></span></li><li><span>Participate in the diagnosis of problems</span><span></span></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Education & Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><span>College/CEGEP education</span><span></span></li><li><span>Demonstrated leadership skills, positive attitude, and good communication skills</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ability to handle weights of approximately 40lbs</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ability to work alone or in a team and under pressure</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating night, and day over two weeks or weekends</span><span></span></li><li><span>Ability to work outside of their usual shift hours</span><span></span></li><li>Knowledge of English (written and spoken) is an asset</li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>3 years of relevant experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 field (asset)</li><li>Experience in hazardous material handling (asset)</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><i>The masculine form may be used in this job description solely for the ease of reading, but refers to men, women, and the gender diverse.</i></p><p><i>PyroGenesis Canada Inc. thanks all applicants for their interest.
