Pioneer Craftsmen, a premier Waterloo region design build renovation contractor, is seeking a full cycle Bookkeeper The qualified candidate must be able to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and perform full cycle bookkeeping duties in a professional office setting. This is a full time permanent position requiring approximately 40 hours each week *Qualifications & Skills* · Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping · Min. 2-3 years of experience as a bookkeeper · Payroll compliance professional certification · Must have strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts · Experience with QuickBooks Online, job costing and Microsoft Office, particularly excel · Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise diplomacy and discretion · Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy without supervision *Responsibilities* · Perform full cycle bookkeeping and preparation of monthly financial reports for management, budgeting and asset tracking · Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivables · Bi-weekly payroll · HST / EHT / Various CRA payments and installments · Monthly bank reconciliations · Assist external accountant to complete corporate year end statements *Wages:* · $24.00 - $28.00 per hour plus benefits · Based on experience *Benefits:* · Profit Sharing · Health Spending Account · Healthy Living allowance · Company Fun days!
