*Job Overview* We are seeking a talented and passionate licensed hairstylist to join our small team. Seeking someone for full time employment OR the option of chair rental. We offer flexible hours, competitive comission rates, on going education, and a fun and relaxed work environment. *Duties* * Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences. * Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and offering professional advice on hair care and styling options. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. * Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and managing retail sales of hair products. * Promote additional services through effective upselling techniques while maintaining a positive rapport with clients. * Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the salon. *Requirements* * MUST have trade certifcation for hairstylists in Ontario Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Additional pay: * Commission pay * Tips Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationPeterborough, ON
