Education: Bachelor's degree. Mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician. Asset languages: Tamil. Work site environment: Interior. Work setting: Various locations. Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials and methods of production. Computer-aided design (CAD). Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production and construct prototype of design. Prepare design concepts, sketches or models for approval. Analyze the intended use of products and user preferences. Print in 3D. Train workers in duties and policies. Provide consultation and advice. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Design methods: Illustration. Detailed visualization. Drafting. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. SolidWorks software. Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Acrobat Reader.
