*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in the *Fort McMurray Region. Shift Two weeks in Two weeks out.* The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and appliances. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Refrigeration Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety standards. *Duties* * Install and maintain refrigeration systems, including commercial and residential units. * Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal performance. * Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components. * Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. * Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems. * Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. * Plumb systems as required for proper installation and maintenance. * Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their refrigeration needs. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in refrigeration repair or a related field is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. * Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. * Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately. * Experience in appliance repair is advantageous. * Skills in welding, plumbing, and building are desirable. * Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
