Webever Technologies is looking for a PHP Developer to join our team. As our PHP developer, you will be responsible for creating cloud based software. You will work closely with various members of our company and play a key role in the successful launch of various software web based applications. _*Responsibilities:*_ -Use PHP and other languages to create websites, dashboards, reporting, portals, and other software and web-based applications. -Actively use Jira for task tracking, time management, and productivity metrics. -Build, maintain, and improve software web applications and websites. -Optimize web applications for maximum speed. -Actively seek to understand business requirements to develop solutions. -Keep up to date on the latest and emerging technologies as it relates to the position. _*Qualifications:*_ -Knowledge of PHP and building PHP based applications -Experience PHP frameworks, especially Laravel Working understanding of full LAMP stack -Experience working with gulp, & version control (GIT) -Knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress a strong plus -Familiarity of javascript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue a strong plus -Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills -Great interpersonal and communication skills 3+ years experience working with PHP and PHP Frameworks 1+ years? SDLC implementation experience -Ability to create custom applications from scratch -Ability to customize pre-built solutions based on customer needs -Ability to create support documentation for all new applications -Ability to work independently and in mixed teams WORK IN PERSON Job Type - Full Time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationWinnipeg, MB
