Position Description As an apprentice, the individual will be learning and gaining practical experience under the guidance of experienced and qualified Journeyperson R/AC Mechanic professional. The primary responsibilities will involve the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various cooling and heating systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Reading and Interpretation: + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or other specifications related to refrigeration and air conditioning systems. + Measure and lay out reference points for system installation. Installation and Assembly: + Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, including motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators, and compressors. + Use hand and power tools to complete installations.
