Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents. Load and unload vehicle. Operate para-transit vehicles. Deal with public. Complete logbooks and reports. Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care. Transport patients between care facilities. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers). First Aid Certificate. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Adult Abuse Registry check. Child Abuse Registry check. Child welfare check. Criminal record check. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Driver's abstract. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Sitting.
