*Andalusia Speech Therapy* is hiring a part-time Speech Language Pathologist at our 1775 Lasalle Blvd location in Sudbury! *About Us* Andalusia Speech Therapy is founded by a woman of color and encourages diversity and inclusivity in all its practices. The clinic operates in multiple cities across Ontario, offers online therapy throughout Canada, and works as a social enterprise to advocate for human rights and equality from the framework of language and communication. *Our Mission* Help others communicate by providing quality speech therapy to individuals of all ages, economic and cultural backgrounds, and geographical locations, and participate as active members of our communities. As a Speech Language Pathologist, the successful candidate will: * Conduct informal assessments and provide therapy to pre-school, school aged, teen, and adult clients. We provide services in all areas of speech therapy except for swallowing (caseload: 80% pediatric, 20% adult) * Write reports using our report templates * Write therapy progress notes using the EMR system - Jane app * Collaborate with Speech Therapy Assistants * Report to Clinical Mentor * Attend weekly mentoring sessions * Participate in team discussions/collaborations * This is a clinic-based position with the possibility of some home visits and online appointments *Experience and Qualifications* * CASLPO-licenced * Effective communication skills with colleagues, clients and their families, and third parties * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Accepting of respectful feedback to improve clinical practice * Understanding and lived practice of inclusivity *Compensation* * New grads start at $63.00 for each 45-minute therapy session (including prep and note time). $103.25 for 1-hour assessments (includes report writing time. we provide therapists with all report templates) * $30 travel top-up for off-site visits * Salary commensurate with experience according to company pay range *Why work with us* * Comprehensive mentoring program * Complimentary professional liability insurance coverage * Flexible schedule * Paid sick and mental health days for employees and contractors * Potential transition to Employee status based on working days per week * Education assistance program * Mat leave top up * Unlimited unpaid time off * 2% annual salary increase based on performance * Career growth opportunities * Supportive team environment Andalusia Speech Therapy is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
