*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optical services and retail management, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and products. *Duties* * Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and personal style. * Perform fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses and contact lenses. * Utilize optical equipment to measure and verify prescriptions. * Maintain an organized and clean retail environment, ensuring all products are displayed effectively. * Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage. * Process sales transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. * Collaborate with optometrists to ensure seamless patient care. * Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear and optical technology. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care. * Familiarity with retail management practices and sales techniques. * Proficiency in using optical equipment and tools, including laboratory skills for lens fabrication. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A passion for helping others and providing outstanding service.
