*Office Location- 7250 Nelson St. Mission BC* *Overview* We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of cranes and boom trucks. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on job sites while maintaining high standards of customer service. The Crane Operator will work closely with other team members to achieve project goals and ensure client satisfaction. *Duties* * Operate cranes and boom trucks to lift, move, and position loads as required on job sites. * Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. * Communicate effectively with ground crew and site supervisors to coordinate lifting operations. * Rig loads securely using appropriate techniques and equipment. * Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights and equipment usage. * Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. * Assist in the maintenance of equipment, reporting any issues or required repairs. *Skills* * Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance. * Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and boom trucks is highly desirable. * Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients, ensuring effective coordination during operations. * Proficiency in rigging techniques for safely securing loads for transport. * Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse teams and clients. * A strong commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work. * Customer service skills that reflect professionalism and responsiveness in client interactions.
