This is a full-time, permanent position offering steady work, competitive pay, and a wide range of benefits to ensure a fulfilling and secure career with us.</p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Steady and consistent workload</strong> ensuring reliable hours and pay.</li><li><strong>Highly competitive wages</strong> reflective of your skills and experience.</li><li>Access to <strong>new, well-maintained equipment</strong>, serviced in our in-house, cutting-edge truck and trailer repair shop.</li><li>Comprehensive <strong>Group Benefits Plan</strong> covering health, dental, vision, massage, chiropractic, physiotherapy, and more.</li><li><strong>Employer-matched Pension Plan</strong> to support your long-term financial security.</li><li>Generous <strong>vacation time</strong> and <strong>paid time off</strong> to maintain a healthy work-life balance.</li><li><strong>Safety clothing and work boot allowance</strong> to ensure you are always protected and comfortable on the job.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct <strong>pin-to-pin transportation</strong> of ocean containers between Hensall, Ontario, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with up to two trips per day.</li><li>Safely handle the <strong>loading, unloading, and transportation</strong> of various bulk commodities.</li><li>Adhere to all <strong>road safety regulations</strong> and company policies, including pre-trip inspections, daily logs, hours of service, and proper completion of all necessary paperwork.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and safe operation of your assigned truck.</li><li>Ensure food safety standards are met by inspecting containers and bulk trailers for cleanliness.</li><li>Demonstrate a <strong>positive, professional attitude</strong> while collaborating with team members and interacting with customers.</li><li>Consistently follow company <strong>safety procedures and policies</strong> to maintain a safe working environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent, with strong oral, written, and math skills.</li><li><strong>Minimum of 3-5 years</strong> of professional driving experience.</li><li>Experience in the transportation of ocean containers and familiarity with agricultural settings is an asset.</li><li><strong>Valid AZ driver's license</strong> with a clean driving record.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, <strong>problem-solve</strong>, and effectively manage responsibilities and deadlines.</li></ul></div></div>- LocationHensall, ON
