<p>Under the responsibility of the Unit Manager, the position holder supervises the production employees in his sector (may work in various sectors) <br><br></p><ul><li>This is a hands-on working supervisor role. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities of the work shift;</li><li>Responsible for the safety of direct reports, and the quantity and quality of production output within an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environment;</li><li>Participates in the hiring, training, and discipline of the employees under his/her responsibility;</li><li>Ensures that the various site rules are respected;</li><li>Works collaboratively with Production Supervisors in other departments and on other shifts;</li><li>Helps with and implements the production schedule. Reports production in AS-400 and Efficiency Report. Production scheduling skills considered an asset;</li><li>Maintains an inventory of quarantined materials, controls their status in Excel, AS-400, and works with Quality Control to recycle this inventory using acceptable manufacturing practices. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills considered an asset;</li><li>Participates in maintaining and improving ISO standards in the manufacturing, handling, packing and labelling of products in addition to developing or reviewing work methods and practices;</li><li>Contributes as an Internal Auditor. ISO 19011 Internal Auditor skills considered an asset;</li><li>Ensures compliance to regulatory environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards, rules and regulations. Health and safety committee co-chair experience considered an asset;</li><li>EHS reports are initiated and completed properly within defined time limits;</li><li>permanent and appropriate corrective measures are taken immediately;</li><li>all necessary inspections are being conducted properly;</li><li>Leads weekly efficiency (OEE) improvement team meeting;</li><li>Conducts shift crossover meetings;</li><li>Participates in the performance evaluation process;</li><li>Continually looks to optimize the production process;</li><li>Any other related tasks and responsibilities identified within the ISO Integrated Systems Manual and/or the Unit Manager.</li></ul> <br> <ul><li>Education: HSD</li><li>5 years experience in a similar role, or College Diploma in Manufacturing, Production or other pertinent field, and 3 years? experience in a similar role.</li><li>Years of experience: : 5 years? experience in similar position</li><li>Languages Spoke and Written : English</li><li>Mathematical Aptitudes, Executing complex tasks</li><li>Office automation software, including Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Data Capture Software, Data Entry Software: AS-400, an asset</li><li>Quality Standards: ISO 9001, Quality Standards: ISO 14001</li><li>Health and Safety- General Application, Investigation techniques and accident analysis, Workplace inspection techniques</li><li>Production Planning (understanding), Supervisory Skills, Mechanical Processes</li><li>Adaptation capacity, Time and priority management, Can work under pressure</li><li>Capacity to challenge situation or people, Knows how to delegate, Knows how to inform</li><li>Personal integrity, Autonomy, Interpersonal relationship, Detailed (rigorous)</li><li>Leadership, Innovation, Team Spirit, Business Knowledge, Sense of Customer Service, Proactive</li></ul>- LocationDelta, BC
