Position Description :As an apprentice, the individual will be learning and gaining practical experience under the guidance of experienced and qualified Journeyperson R/AC Mechanic professional. The primary responsibilities will involve the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various cooling and heating systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or other specifications related to refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Measure and lay out reference points for system installation. Installation and Assembly: Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, including motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators, and compressors. Use hand and power tools to complete installations. Piping and Welding: Measure and cut piping. Connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
