The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, deboning, and preparing various meat products according to customer specifications and industry standards. The butcher will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and knowledge of various cuts of meat.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb, based on customer requests and specifications.</li><li>Grind meat, make sausage, and package products for retail or wholesale distribution.</li><li>Maintain proper inventory of meat products, ensuring freshness and quality.</li><li>Weigh, label, and price cuts of meat according to company standards and customer preferences.</li><li>Monitor and inspect meat for freshness, quality, and appearance, removing any substandard products.</li><li>Use knives, saws, grinders, and other equipment safely and effectively to achieve precise cuts.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cutting area, tools, and equipment according to health and safety regulations.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and assisting with custom orders.</li><li>Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers and employees.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Peel HR is one of the fastest growing HR companies in the GTA.
