*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. * Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. * Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice. * Stay updated on new dental technologies and procedures. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred. * Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is a plus. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry. * Understanding of orthodontics dentistry is beneficial. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. * Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings if required.
