Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Private clinic. Tasks: Check, calibrate and perform routine maintenance to equipment. Prepare recordings and reports of findings for physicians. Review patient's case history and assess nature of problem to determine procedures and tests required. Monitor cardiac activity and record results. Perform cardiovascular procedures and tests. Prepare reports for interpretation by cardiologists. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate. Area of specialization: Electrocardiography tests. Ambulatory monitoring. Exercise stress testing. Holter monitoring/scanning. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Experience: Experience an asset.
