Digital Tea is looking to expand on the SEO/SEM services we offer, and is looking for an experienced *SEO & SEM specialist* to join our team remotely. *Although you will be working remotely,* *you will need to reside in Alberta* and be available for in-person meetings with reasonable notice. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to grow our Digital Marketing (DM) department, lead the DM team, and build our client base and service offerings through diligent work and proven results. We?re looking for the right individuals to join the Digital Tea(m)! *What you?ll be doing:* * Manage campaigns for multiple accounts in various sectors * Define, track, and improve all client SEO positions for predetermined search phrases month over month * Manage AdWords campaigns effectively and efficiently within predetermined budgets * Generate easy-to-read reports for internal and client review on a monthly and/or quarterly basis * Provide recommendations for improvements, and work with clients and the Digital Tea team to implement those recommendations * Regularly perform thorough keyword & competitor research, both for clients as well as Digital Tea * Attend virtual and in-person meetings * Manage and modify WordPress websites and web content to maximize SEO results and functionality * Develop and implement strategies and policies for SEO/SEM improvement * Work with the Digital Tea team to implement these strategies * Manage your time and efforts precisely and effectively * Stay on top of optimization, search engine, and internet marketing trends and developments *Requirements at a Glance:* * *SEO: *minimum 10 years (required) * *WordPress:* minimum 3 years (required) * *Language:* English (required) * Advanced skills in Google Ads, Search Console & Analytics (GA4) * Proven excellence with on-page SEO skills and knowledge * SERP rank-focused results * Must be a self-starter * Well written/spoken * Excellent interpersonal skills * Must be available during regular working hours (8:30 am ? 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday) to deal with urgent concerns * Expected workload is to bill out approximately 120 hours per month * Prompt and courteous responses to internal and external communications (same-day responses are expected) * Minimum 3 references who can vouch for your knowledge, technical skills, work ethic, and interpersonal skills * *Must live in Alberta* *We want a team member with:* * A minimum of 10 years of proven SEO and Digital Marketing experience * Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Self-motivation who is inspired by helping create success for our clients * Excellent time and task management skills with the flexibility to shift priorities * Acute attention to detail * The ability to identify and address emerging concerns * An expert working knowledge of tools like Yoast, Moz, and SEM Rush * An expert working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, AdWords, and GSuite * Valid certificates in related topics from Google Skillshop * An expert understanding of best technical SEO practices * A solid understanding of website design principles * The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing * Content creation experience * Writing skills * Excellent customer service * *Must live in Al- LocationEdmonton, AB
