Job Title: Dairy Farm Milker Job Location: Chilliwack, British Columbia Job Details Salary: From $21 an hour Job Type: Full Time Schedule: Thursday - Monday Tuesdays and Wednesdays off Typical Start Times: Morning ? 3:30 a.m. Afternoon ? 2:30 p.m. Typical End Times: Morning ? Between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. Afternoon ? Between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. Note: Milkers will be paid for at least 3 hours of work each shift. If a shift is completed in less than 3 hours, such as finishing all necessary tasks in 2.5 hours, the milker will still be paid for 3 hours of work. Full Job Description Milking shifts are completed by teams of two and occur twice a day in the morning and afternoon. Milker?s responsibilities include setting up and shutting down the parlour before and after milking, moving cows in and out from the milking parlour, milking the cows, and assisting with other farm-related tasks if needed. Previous milking experience is strongly preferred, but not required. A positive attitude, ability to work with others, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Employee must be fluent in English. Employee must currently live close to job location (Chilliwack/Abbotsford). Please include a resume with contact information in your response.
