<p>Person in a medical laboratory who performs various analyses or technical work for the purpose of helping to achieve a medical diagnosis or for research purposes.</p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Must have a diploma of college studies with specialization in Medical Technology from a school recognized by the ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport;</li><li>Must be a member of the Ordre professionnel des technologistes médicaux du Québec.</li></ul><p>Experience:<br>In the last 2 years* Graduation<br>or* At least 1 year of experience in one of the following sectors: CoreLab. Microbiology, blood bank with basic notions in other sectors* Experience in office automation and knowledge of applications specific to medical laboratories.</p><p>Knowledge and Abilities:</p><ul><li>Good knowledge of Medical Laboratory theory and practice, current trends, and the MSSS Network and regulations;</li><li>Good knowledge of medical laboratory quality assurance systems;</li><li>Good professional record in medical laboratory related procedures, techniques and analysis;</li><li>Manual dexterity, good vision and hearing, acuity, attention to detail; </li><li>Capability to adapt to a constantly evolving technology; </li><li>Sense of accountability, analytical, and good judgment;</li><li>Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills; </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>Fluent in English;</li><li>Fluency in Cree or French is an asset.</li></ul><p>Other:</p><ul><li>Able to adapt to schedule and working conditions changes as well as on-call periods;</li><li>Willing to travel.</li></ul><p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION* A nordic leave could be available with your union if working in MSSS.</p>- LocationMontréal, QC
