City of ArmstrongChief Administrative Officer Nestled in the beautiful North Okanagan Valley, the City of Armstrong is an agriculture hub found between the Okanagan and Shuswap regions. Responsible to the Mayor and Council for the effective management of the City, the CAO will be responsible for organizing, planning, and directing all the operations and activities of Armstrong. A solid communicator, you are ready to develop effective relationships with staff, elected officials, the public, and neighbouring municipalities and partners of the City.The ideal candidate will bring:local government experience a degree, diploma, or certificate in public administration or related discipline a proven record of team leadership, and experience in human resources excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills the ability to meet the challenges of a small community quickly a positive, energetic, ?can-do? approach The salary range for the role is $165,000 - $175,000.
