*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. You will play a vital role in our team, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of dental hygiene services in a friendly and professional environment. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix or similar software. * Assist in the management of patient records and maintain confidentiality. * Provide support to the dentist during procedures, particularly in orthodontics and pediatrics. * Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology. *Requirements* * Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. * Experience with Dentrix software is preferred. * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for patient education and collaboration with team members.
