Our company is looking for a reliable, organized Receptionist to help manage the day-to-day administrative aspects of running the business. We are a boutique accounting firm with nearly 30 years of experience built through providing exceptional service to our clients. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent client-facing communication skills. This job will include some overtime as well as a 3 hour Saturday shift through our busy tax season.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Managing multi-line switchboard
* Handling client requests through email, phone, fax or in person
* Preparing daily mail and arranging couriers
* Data entry and updating spreadsheets
* Filing, photocopying, and scanning
* Providing support to office staff as needed
* Managing meeting requests and ensuring boardrooms are prepped
* Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications / Experience:
* Minimum 1 year professional office experience ( either receptionist or administrative assistant)
* Experience with a multi-line switchboard is an asset
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of staff, the general public, clients, and suppliers.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
* Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
