Our role is to help motivate Canadians to get moving and help them achieve their wellness goals.Job Description As a Visual Merchandising Lead at Sport Chek, you are creative, yet analytical when it comes to consumer buying patterns and market trends. Your job is to combine artistic flair with technical know-how in implementing all aspects of merchandising the sales floor to enhance the Sport Chek shopping experience and contribute positively to sales. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all visual elements are displayed with merchandise and reflect current market trends Support the set-up of all promotional events and seasonal changeoversMaintain all point of purchase, sign-holders and fixturesAssist with pricing, unpacking, and placement of stockInteract with customers in a friendly and professional mannerDeliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targetsRequired Skills and Knowledge6+ months of previous experience setting up window and floor displays in a retail environmentPassion for sports, sports fashion, and active, healthy livingAbility to lift/move boxesEducational LevelHigh school education or current enrollment in high schoolDegree/diploma in a visual merchandising is an assetExperience LevelIntermediateCompensationAt Canadian Tire Group of Companies, we believe in fostering an environment of transparency.
