Overview: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician 3rd year to Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be knowledgeable in HVAC systems. Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems - Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems - Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues - Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring - Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions - Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations Requirements: - Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or relevant position - Mechanical knowledge and skills in HVAC systems - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC equipment - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Certification or license in HVAC - Certification or license in Gas B or A is a plus - Certification or license in Chiller mechanic is a plus Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with boiler systems - Knowledge of plumbing for HVAC systems - Ability to weld and build components for HVAC units - Familiarity with appliance repair techniques Join our team as an HVAC Technician and contribute your expertise to ensure optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * HVAC: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * driver's license (required) * Gas (preferred) * air conditioning & refrigeration license (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
