*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assemble new equipment according to company standards and specifications.
* Test equipment to verify it meets customer requirements and specifications.
* Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company standards.
* Interpret and follow schematics, blueprints, and detailed assembly instructions.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, tools, and equipment.
* Verify completed components meet specifications by performing precise measurements.
* Utilize problem-solving and root-cause analysis to systematically test and troubleshoot equipment.
* Address assembly issues by adjusting dimensions and notifying supervisors for additional resources if necessary.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues that may arise due to shipping or other factors.
* Troubleshoot and identify noncompatible parts, initiating engineering changes when required.
* Install and connect wiring for motors, sensors, and other devices to control panels.
* Set up pneumatic devices and install air lines throughout the equipment.
* Prepare and clean machines thoroughly for shipping.
* Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety procedures, company rules, and regulations.
* Identify defective items and follow established protocols for handling them.
* Maintain the highest quality standards for all delivered equipment.
* Assist in crating machines for shipment.
* Provide support to other team members as needed.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned.
*Requirements:*
*Technical Skills:*
* Knowledge and experience with sensors, switches, servo motors, and pneumatic components
* Knowledge of AC/DC gear motors, Contactors, Heaters, safety switches
* Must have experience in machine rigging
* Able to read mechanical drawings
* Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience assembling machines
*Education:*
* High School or College diploma in the related fields
*Interpersonal skills:*
* Ability to read directions, job orders, blueprints, and specifications
* Passion for prototyping and machine building
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Self-disciplined and self-motivated
* Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
* Ability to solve problems in a professional manner
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Have great communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
