*Job purpose* To help maintain the flow of fabrication through the shop. *Duties and responsibilities* Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Fitter / Welder are responsible for: · Moving steel around the shop · Fitting / Welding of Structural Steel · General cleanup and organization of area *Skills and Qualifications* · Overhead Crane · First Aid (is an asset) · Physically fit and able to lift and load manually various items · Able to work well under pressure in an extremely fast paced environment · Strong multi tasker with keen attention to detail · Able to read blueprints · CWB certified Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Night shift Experience: * Fitting: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
