<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to become a part of our team! The ideal candidate will have some litigation and real estate background, strong legal research and drafting skills, and the ability to manage files independently. You will represent clients in small claims and real estate matters and advise clients on legal transactions.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Advise clients of their legal rights and all matters related to real estate or small claims matters.</li><li>Research legal precedents and gather evidence.</li><li>Plead clients' cases before courts of law, tribunals and boards.</li><li>Draw up legal documents such as real estate transactions, wills, and contracts, and prepare statements of legal opinions.</li><li>Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.</li><li>Maintain regular communication with clients and keep them informed about their cases</li></ul><p> <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in real estate and small claims area</li><li>Familiarity with land title documents and small claims rules</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>Ability to build rapport with clients</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul></div></div>- LocationSurrey, BC
