*We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience in beading and/or crafts to start right away.* *Must be available to work Full-Time (38 to 40 hours) Weekends and Weekdays as Needed* * Weekdays from 9:45am to 6:15pm * Saturdays from 9:45am until 6:15pm, and Sundays from 10:45am until 5:15pm * Includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break * Must be flexible * Must have own transportion to commute to work (Public Transit not available in the area) *Main Purpose of the Job:* * You will be responsible for getting to know our product line and helping customers choose products that will suit their needs. You will also work with our point of sale system, online web store, emails, picking and packing customer orders, unpacking shipments, packaging and pricing merchandise, stocking merchandise, inventory, merchandising, organizing, and cleaning. Other tasks will be assigned to you by your supervisor / manager. Training will be provided. *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Your primary role is to assist customers both in store and online. You will be responsible for making people feel welcome, helping customers choose products, processing transactions on our Point of Sale systems, and bagging merchandise. * You will learn the opening and closing procedures. * You will be responsible for unpacking shipments, double checking invoices, packaging and pricing merchandise, neatly displaying merchandise, and boxing extra stock. * You will take regular inventories and restock merchandise. * You will be responsible for merchandising and organizing displays. * Once you have been trained on the above, you will be trained to work with our online customers. This will include answering emails, calling customers, picking, packing and shipping orders, processing payments, preparing shipping labels, and doing end of day procedures. *Qualifications:* * Must speak, read and write English, and have good math and communication skills. Ability to speak and write in French is a strong asset. * Be comfortable working with computers, computer programs and have cashier and retail sales experience. * Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. * You must be reliable and responsible, eager to learn, hard working, pay attention to detail. * Outgoing and friendly personality. Provide exceptional and personal customer service. Work as part of a team. * Able to resolve customer issues effectively and in a timely manner. * You must be able to handle physical tasks, stand for long periods of time. Able to work in a fast paced environment. *Working Conditions:* * Job may require prolonged periods of standing or sitting indoors. * Employee may be subject to household chemicals for cleaning purposes. Example: Mr. Clean, Windex, etc... * During winter months, employee may be required to be outdoors for short amount of time to clear snow from deck, handicap ramp and in front of stair case. *Physical Requirements:* * Capable of standing, sitting, bending, stretching, walking, squatting, kneeling, lifting (max 30kg) * Employee is expected to make quick decisions, problem solve, read and write, and interpret data.
