We are looking to add a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to our dynamic team, who loves to care for children and their families. *Practice Hours: *Are you wanting a great work-life balance? We only work Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM ? 3:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM- 2:00 PM, NO evenings or weekends!! *The opportunity:* As an enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant, you have the opportunity to join our growing Pediatric practice! You are compassionate and have great interpersonal skills. You have a passion for helping patients gain confidence with dental procedures to ensure great experience! You do this by being self-motivated, team oriented and by paying exceptional attention to detail. You are skilled at chair side assisting, instrument processing, customer service and you are familiar with Dentrix. *What we offer!* · Professional and supportive team · Continuing Education Opportunities · Fun work environment · Opportunity to Grow · Great Hours · Benefits *Responsibilities:* * Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation & sterilization * Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour * Cleans and prepares treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient * Have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment * Be flexible and creative in approaches to give personalized, individual care to each patient * Be accurate with charting and have excellent clinical skills * Make each child/family feel cared for * Thoroughly address concerns professionally and compassionately *Requirements:* * Registered Dental Assistant II * Experience with Dentrix preferred * Self starter and highly motivated * Great attention to detail * Experience in Pediatric dental environment preferred, but new graduates welcome * Arabic speaking communication skills would be a wonderful asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent License: * Registered Dental Assistant (Required) * CPR certified Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday * No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) License/Certification: * Alberta Registered Dental Assistant License (required) Location: * Calgary, AB (required) Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
