Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Aviation/aerospace manufacturing. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Not required. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Gauges. Verniers. Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail.
