Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Scent free. Work setting: Room and board provided. Willing to relocate. Employer's home. Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Supervise and care for children. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Help children with homework. Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children. Experience with special needs children: Autistic children. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel.
