*Job Summary* We are a reputable engineering consulting firm with a strong focus on environmental solutions for diverse projects across Ontario. Our team is dedicated to sustainability, innovation, and delivering high-quality results. We are currently seeking a talented Environmental Engineer with a P.Eng license to join our team. As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Ontario?s regulatory requirements and experience working with multidisciplinary teams to provide practical, effective environmental solutions for our clients. *Responsibilities* * Develop and implement environmental engineering projects; * Conduct Phase I and Phase II ESAs and manage projects from planning through to completion; including site assessments and environmental impact studies to evaluate potential risks and compliance with regulations. * Ensure compliance with Ontario?s environmental regulations and standards. * Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints. * Support senior engineers in project management and participate in environmental fieldwork, sampling, and data analysis as needed. * Prepare written correspondence, reports; perform other tasks as assigned. * Stay updated on environmental regulations and best practices to ensure compliance in all engineering activities. *Requirements* * Bachelor?s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field. * Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of environmental science principles. * Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients. * 5 years related experience in Engineering consulting field Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: * Project management: 1 year (required) * Analysis skills: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Professional Engineer Ontario (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-22- LocationMarkham, ON
